Yes. A solid-walled home retrofit with 90mm EWI typically cuts heating bills by 25 to 40 percent.

Does the house need scaffolding?

Yes, a full EWI job needs scaffold for safe access. We include this in the quote.

What thickness do you recommend?

Depends on the wall and the build-out you can accept. 90mm to 120mm is most common for Scottish stone or block walls.

Will it damage the existing wall?

No. EWI is mechanically fixed and breathable. It protects the existing wall from rain and frost cycles.
