Common questions.

How long does screed take to dry?
Sand and cement needs a day per millimetre of thickness as a rough guide. Liquid screed is faster, walkable in 24 to 48 hours.
Can I tile straight on top?
You need the screed fully dry to under 75 percent relative humidity before tiling, otherwise tiles can lift.
Does liquid screed work with underfloor heating?
Yes, it is ideal. It flows tight around the heating loops with no voids, giving better heat transfer than sand and cement.
How flat will it be?
We aim for surface regularity SR2, typically within 5mm over a 2m straight edge. Ready for tile or LVT direct.
